Find answers to common questions about yoga and our studio
We've compiled answers to the most common questions we receive. If you don't find what you're looking for, please contact us directly.
Absolutely! We welcome beginners and have specifically designed classes for those new to yoga. Our "Hatha Yoga" class is perfect for beginners, focusing on basic postures and proper breathing techniques. Our instructors are trained to provide modifications for all levels and will guide you through each pose with careful attention.
Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Fitted clothes work best so they don't get in the way during poses. Most practitioners wear yoga pants or leggings with a comfortable t-shirt or tank top. You'll practice barefoot, so no special footwear is needed.
We provide mats and all necessary props (blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters) for your use at no additional charge. However, if you prefer to use your own mat for hygiene reasons, you're welcome to bring it. We also have high-quality mats and props available for purchase in our boutique.
Saying you're too inflexible for yoga is like saying you're too dirty to take a shower! Yoga is about working with your body exactly as it is today. Flexibility is a result of yoga practice, not a prerequisite. Our instructors offer modifications for all body types and ability levels, and you'll likely notice improvements in your flexibility after just a few classes.
We're here to help! Reach out to us directly and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
